BRISTOL 166 BUCKMASTER T Mk I - The Bristol Buckmaster was derived during 1943 from the Type 163 Bristol Buckingham as an unarmed dual control trainer, to Specification T.I3/43. All armament and armour were removed, and a 'wider front fuselage seated two pilots side-by-side and a wireless operator behind. First of two proto-types flown October 27, 1944, and 110 production aircraft, using components laid down as part of original Bristol Buckingham contract, delivered from 1945 onwards, with 2,400 hp Centaurus VII or XI engines.
