CIERVA C.40A (ROTA II) - An improved version of the Cierva C.30 evolved in 1938 with side-by-side seating for two and 175 hp Salmson engine. One built by British Aircraft Manufacturing Co Ltd and six by Oddie, Bradbury and Cull, of which five supplied to RAF, and other two impressed, as Rota Us for service with Rota Is. |
