DE HAVILLAND DH.80 PUSS MOTH - A three-seat cabin monoplane designed dur-ing 1929 and first flown on September 9 that year, the standard DH.80A Puss Moth was powered by a 130 hp Gipsy Major. Total of 47 civil examples impressed for military ser-vice in UK 1940-41 and attached to RAF units and Air Transport Auxiliary for commu-nications/ferry duties throughout the war. Six impressed in India and Middle East for simi-lar use, at least eight in South Africa for SAAF, and five in New Zealand for RNZAF.
