DE HAVILLAND DH.83 FOX MOTH - Four-seat light transport using DH.82A mainplane, tail unit and undercarriage, designed in 1931 by A E Hagg and first flown March 1932. Eleven civil examples, with 130 hp Gipsy Major engines, impressed in UK 1939-41 for communica-tions duties, three similarly impressed in India and four in Australia for RAAF.
