DE HAVILLAND DH.85 LEOPARD MOTH - Three-seat lightplane designed to succeed De Havilland Puss Moth in 1933 and first flown on May 27 that year, with 130 hp Gipsy Major. Production totalled 132 for civil use in UK and overseas. All 45 on UK register when war started impressed for Army Co-opera-tion and communications duties. Seven impressed in India and at least three in South Africa.
