GENERAL AIRCRAFT G.A.L. 41

GENERAL AIRCRAFT G.A.L. 41 - Single prototype based on General Aircraft Monospar ST-25 Universal with a new fuselage incorporating a pressure vessel containing two seats, built to investi-gate pressurisation systems for proposed General Aircraft G.A.L. 40 airliner. Powered by two 95 hp Pobjoy Niagara III radials and first flown (as T45) on May 11, 1939. Testing continued into 1941 and aircraft marked T-0222 before being grounded.

Cruising speed, 110 mph (177 km/h). Endurance, 3.5 hrs. Span 40 ft 2 in (12.2 m). Length, 26ft 4 in (8.03m).
