HELMY AEROGYPT

HELMY AEROGYPT - Four-seat cabin monoplane (G-AFFG) powered by three 22 hp Douglas Sprites, intended as scale model for passenger/ freight transport to be produced in Egypt; first flown at Heston February 1939. Progressively modified to Helmy Aerogypt II and Helmy Aerogypt III, and testing continued to September 26, 1940. Further development 1943/44 at White Waltham as Helmy Aerogypt IV with two Continental A-65s and tricycle u/c; survived until November 1946 but saw no military service.
