HESTON T.1/37

HESTON T.1/37 - One prototype (L7706) built in 1938 to requirements of Specification T.l/37, for a primary RAF trainer powered by a 205 hp DH Gipsy Queen I. On test at A & AEE in September 1939, then, transferred to Boscombe Down, but performance found unsatisfactory and became instructional air-frame late 1940 after T.l/37 requirement dropped. Second prototype (L7709) may not have been completed and a third (P8804) was certainly not built.
