MARENDAZ TRAINER

MARENDAZ TRAINER - Small low-wing monoplane with tandem open cockpits, designed by D M K Marendaz and built at Barton-in-the-Clay, Beds, during 1939. Powered by a 90 hp Cirrus Minor I and intended as a primary trainer, sole example (G-AFZX) first flew December 1939. With no prospect for use during the war, the trainer was given to ATC unit at Halton in 1940.
