- Basic trainer to Specification T.l/37,with tandem open cockpits and
200 hp DH Gipsy Six Srs I engine. First of two prototypes (L7714) flown
September 1938. Second aircraft (L7717) abandoned but components then
used to complete prototype (U-0234, then P6326) with 210 hp Gipsy Queen
I. Under test at A & AEE Martlesham Heath and transferred to Boscombe
Down in September 1939, but no further development.
Gross weight, 2,530 Ib (1,147kg).
Span, 33ft 5 in (10.19m). Length, 29 ft 6 in (8.99 m).
