MILES M.16 MENTOR

MILES MENTOR -The Miles M.16 Mentor was developed M.7 to meet Air Ministry Specification 38/37 as a three-seat radio/navigation trainer and communications aircraft, first flown on January 5, 1938.
Total of 45 built by early 1939, of which 4 available for service when war began. Used by No 24 Sqn, Station Flights and other UK-based units, only one surviving to 1945. Powered by 205 hp DH Gipsy Queen I.
