MILES MERLIN

MILES MERLIN - In effect a five-seat derivative of the Falcon, the Miles M.4 Merlin first flew on March 24, 1935, with a 200 hp DH Gipsy Six engine. Four more built, of which one went to Australia in 1936 and was impressed by the RAAF (as A37-2) in 1940 for the Communications Unit.
