AVRO CLUB CADET

AVRO 638 CLUB CADET - An improved version of the Avro Cadet, the Type 638 Club Cadet appeared in 1933 with Genet Major I engine. Re-engined with an in-line 130 hp Gipsy Major, a single example, G-ACHP, was impressed as HM570 in July 1942 and operated through-out the war as a communications aircraft for Saunders-Roe, flying between Eastleigh on the mainland and Cowes on the Isle of Wight.
