BLACKBURN B-2 - Side-by-side trainer first flown 1932, the B-2 was built in small numbers until 1937 and usually powered by a 120 hp Cirrus Hermes IVA or 135 hp Cirrus Major I engine; some with 120 hp Gipsy III or 130 hp Gipsy Major. Equipped No 4 Elementary Flying Training School at Brough until February, 1942, when 26 surviving examples were impressed and given to ATC units as instructional airframes.
